Are you curious about what is the “Waffle House Index?” Do you want to have classroom activities that can actually help plan for natural disasters? Do you want a simulation activity where students think like the adults involved in handling the chaos of natural disasters and learn good decision making skills?

Come join us for a half-day workshop for this fast paced day.

The agenda is as follows:

8:00-8:15             Registration

8:15-8:30             Introductions and Welcome and Pre Day Survey

9:30-10:20          Arizona Rescues Dr. Niccole Cerveny

10:30-11:30        Weather Ready Nation: Being Prepared Dr. Erin Saffell

The $30 commitment fee (required for registration) will be returned to you when you attend. You can cancel by January 28 and still have your fee returned to you. After that date, you are welcome to send a substitute in your stead.
